Capsule house site storage should be treated as a controlled project stage whenever a delivered unit cannot move directly into installation. The record should identify the exact unit, arrival condition, approved storage location, responsible custodian, protection measures, inspection triggers, access history and release condition.
This article does not provide a universal storage method. Product support, lifting, covering, ventilation, weather protection and allowable storage conditions must come from order-specific supplier information, the contract and qualified site professionals.
Close the Receiving Record First
Before the carrier leaves or responsibility changes, identify the unit and packages and record visible condition in the agreed receiving process. Separate pre-existing observations from damage or changes that occur during later storage.
Use the capsule house receiving inspection to create a dated arrival baseline. Link photographs and exceptions to stable unit and package identifiers.
Approve the Storage Location
Confirm that the responsible parties have reviewed access, ground or support conditions, slope, drainage, exposure, overhead and underground constraints, security and the future route to installation. Do not move the unit to an improvised location merely because the planned area is occupied.
The storage position should not block emergency access, site operations or later lifting. Any temporary supports, restraints or protective systems require project-specific definition and authorization.

Control Access and Changes
Name the custodian and record authorized entry, movement, removal of packaging or protective work. Prevent site teams from using the unit for unplanned storage or removing components without an instruction. Preserve keys, documents and loose items through a controlled handoff.
Inspect After Relevant Events
Set inspection frequency and event triggers from the approved site plan and competent advice. Weather, water movement, nearby construction, impact, unauthorized access or movement may require an additional check. Record visible facts and escalate technical questions rather than diagnosing them.
Release to Installation
