10 Oct Shutdown Notice
A capsule house utility shutdown notification register gives facility, occupant and service teams one controlled record of the affected service, scope, timing, restrictions, recipients and restoration status. It helps prevent an outdated message from being treated as the current operating instruction.
The register is not an isolation procedure or safe-work method. Approved technical procedures, qualified personnel, utility providers and local requirements govern shutdown and restoration.
Identify the Event and Authority
Record the service, affected units or zones, planned or unplanned status, initiating authority and source procedure. If scope is uncertain, state that clearly and restrict the message to verified facts.
Control the Notice
| Field | Record | Control question |
|---|---|---|
| Service | Utility, units and affected function | Is scope verified? |
| Timing | Start, expected review and time zone | Are estimates labelled? |
| Recipients | Responsible groups and delivery channel | Was receipt acknowledged? |
| Change | Revision, issuer and withdrawn notice | Is the current notice clear? |
| Restoration | Authorized status and time | Was return to service confirmed? |
Separate Notification from Permission
Receiving a shutdown notice does not authorize technical work or entry into restricted areas. Preserve permits, isolation records and approvals in their designated systems.
Close with a Verified Update
Do not announce restoration based on assumption or elapsed time. Record the authorized source, restored scope and any remaining restriction. Withdraw superseded messages and keep the decision trail.
Use the utility isolation label register for point identification and the utility access register for visible access conditions. To discuss utility workflow, contact Rovellc.
