A capsule house lift-day checklist should confirm that the exact unit, current handling information, qualified lifting plan, site conditions, foundations or supports, exclusion controls, weather review, communication roles and stop authority are aligned before work begins. It is a release record, not a lifting design.
The appointed lift provider must select equipment, rigging, setup, lift path, limits and procedures using verified project information. Only authorized competent parties may release or stop the work.
Confirm Identity and Current Documents
Match the unit identifier and transport condition to the approved handling information and lift plan revision. Record late configuration or packing changes and stop the release if the current documents do not match the unit.
Verify Site Handoffs
Confirm access, delivery position, setup area, ground information, obstructions, exclusion zones and final supports through the responsible parties. The foundation inputs checklist and receiving record provide supporting evidence but not lift approval.

Brief Roles and Stop Authority
Record who directs the lift, communicates with the driver, controls access and receives the placed unit. Agree signals and the stop-work route. Remove bystanders and conflicting instructions from the work area.
Record the Final Go or No-Go Decision
Complete the provider’s current checks immediately before work. If weather, ground, access, equipment, documents or unit condition differ from the plan, record the exception and responsible decision. Schedule pressure is not a release criterion.
Close the Handoff
After placement, record visible condition, orientation, temporary protection, open items and the party taking control. The transport checklist and installation guide show the wider sequence.
